Her work stems from analogue photography as a slower, more intuitive and present way of seeing, where colour, natural light and imperfection build an emotional narrative. Her images move between fashion, documentary language and the visual diary, seeking beauty in everyday scenes, subtle gestures, bodies in transit, quiet interiors and seemingly accidental moments. There is a tension in her work between spontaneity and composition, between the intimate and the cinematic, between documentary observation and a highly constructed sensitivity towards the image. Her visual language evokes memory, summer, desire, nostalgia, femininity, colour and a certain everyday strangeness. Rather than simply representing a scene, her photographs seem to capture an atmosphere: something that has just happened, or is about to disappear.  Alongside her editorial and commercial work, she has developed a personal practice connected to books, exhibitions and the image as an emotional archive.   Read less
